Auto-Translator translates text you select while browsing. It does not collect your browsing history or send entire web pages for translation.
Your selected text and chosen target language are sent directly to Google's translation service to obtain a translation. Translation text is not stored in Auto-Translator's account database. Google processes requests according to its own privacy policy.
Your language, translation toggle and daily word counter are stored locally in Chrome. Optional account creation, sign-in and password recovery send your email address and credentials over HTTPS through our account service to Supabase Auth. The extension does not save your password. Session tokens are stored in trusted extension storage: with Remember me enabled they persist; otherwise they last for the browser session. Website content scripts cannot read this token storage. Sign-out clears the stored session.
Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment details and subscription receipts. Our server sends your verified account email and a signed account identifier when creating checkout. We store the account ID, subscription/customer identifiers, subscription status and access dates to recognize access on another computer. Payment card details are not stored by our extension or account database. Payment notifications are verified before updating access.
Supabase provides account authentication and the account database; GitHub Pages hosts the public confirmation, recovery and information pages. These pages contain no analytics or advertising scripts. Account and subscription records remain while needed to provide access, resolve support requests and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Provider records are also subject to their respective policies.
You can use the free translation feature without creating an account, disable translation, sign out, or uninstall the extension. To request access to or deletion of your account records, contact ugurtash11@gmail.com. Subscription cancellation is available through your Lemon Squeezy receipt or customer account.
